AA8 and RL-i8 Users....

I currently have a Fi Q10 just sitting in my room. Well I don't want to lose a lot of space in my trunk so I am thinking of getting either (1) Rl-i8 or (2 or 3) AA8's.

My main concern is the low end response and output. I love the lows but don't want to take up a large space.

My amp I have is the US XT-2000D so ~300 @ 2ohm and ~1200 @ 1ohm to deal with.

AA 8's play the lows fairly well...but probably not what you're wanting. Plus, 2-3 8's is going to take up the same amount of space.(or more) I think you'd be better off just sticking with a 10".

1 10, should not take up much space at all sealed, but an 8 will use less. both those subs are a good choice for the budget minded.

Might as well just use the 10 you have. A sealed 10 will not take up much room.

That isn't physically possible BTW. Either it's underrated @ 2 or overrated @ 1.

All the XT series mono amps are the same way basically having low output at high ohms.

I don't want to go sealed with whatever I get.

Here is the current design for my Q and XT2000D setup. I haven't begun building but it's either I sell the Q and get something new or just go for it. It's kinda big so yeah...

Just get your amp benched to see what the real output is.

Assassin 8's will give you the low lows you seek of. I ran six in my explorer between my AV18's setup and my hAvoc setup to hold me over and they killed the lows...... like kept getting louder down to about 32hz in .5 cubes each to 32.
