AA mayhem vs. Fi sp4

why not ask Fi/AA on their forum? I know the question was asked about the N2 vs SP4.

Excellent point, Scott lays it out in simple terms, and in this case the Mayhem can be substituted for the N2.

when i emailed the FI. they said go with the SP4. and when I emailed a 2 different AA dealers (who both use the mayhems). They said go with the mayhems...

mayhems are one of the best daily driver/beater subs for sure....sp4's are new and not a lot of people have them yet

Looks like they're more of a lowend sub compared to the mayhems.

both are sick daily drivers, both need more than 2k to utilize their potential,both will be stupid loud.. the sp is gonna want a slightly bigger box and is gonna have slightly flatter curve..

if it was a daily driver tuned below 35 I'd go fi if not go with the mayhem..

Not sure if you've used them but they are actually geared to use in sealed enclosures too, the SP4.

Well AA dealers will want to sell you what they have. Just saying. Fi won't care either way. They'll tell you whichever is best for what you want.

I’ve been looking around for a new sub for a while, basically a beast of a daily driver sub, and have narrowed it down to two subs, aa mayhem or the fi sp4. Found a post asking the same question as I’m going to ask and everyone was leaning more towards the mayhem side, just because no one really had any experience with the sp4. Now I found a video explaining the sp4 was made to compete right against the smd subs that steve meade uses, just a lil less power then what they use.

If you prefer low end I would go with the sp4, otherwise go with the mayhem.
