LOL sorta looks like I was stuttering in the title eh..

ANyhow I know these things are 300wrms. Could they handle more? Looking at a set for my brothers setup (i know they dont make them anymore but I found some used) Could they handle say 500-700 wrms daily in a sealed enclosure?

i doubt it... we had 2 15 atlass in inhumanacura's wall off of one crossfire VR1000d @ 2 ohms. its rated 500 x 1 @ 2 ohms and we were could smell the coils after a little while.

by all accounts, great SQ sub, not made for SPL at all

ive been giving mine 656 rms sealed daily for a month no sweat.

they are definately not SPL subs, purely SQ.

get decently loud IMO, but not loud loud.

my atlas in my h/t setup is getting a good 400-500 watts and it does fine with it. then again that's home theater.

the atlas doesnt handle power worth a shiz... they do sound pretty dam good though.

I have an atlas in a ported box at 2.95ft3 @32hz and It gets plenty loud!!!!! amp is a pa lt980.2 bridged @ 4ohms not sure what they are benched at I have been told different things but havent had my amp benched.
