Mmmm, these things are nice. Pretty loud, though not quite as much as I wanted (I'm a greedy bastard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif). Also, the enclosures are only .35ft^3 and I put some polyfill on in both of them (about an inch or so along the back wall). The enclosure really should be bigger, but hey, gotta work with what I've got (plus they were $15 a piece). I know my truck is dirty (I actually cleaned it out a little bit after I took these pictures because I spilled some coke on my mats //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Overall, they were worth the $100, I only wish I could go ported //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

P.S.

If anyone wants video of these (for whatever reason) I'll get that up, just ask. Those last two pics, I was trying to get a shot of them going, but they look like they're just sitting there, I assure you, they were moving pretty good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hey thats cool you like them tho.. they look nice back there too. I considered buying some assassins just incase I figured out something to do with them, but I have 4 havocs right now, and am considering selling 2 because they are way to loud in my van. Looks nice tho.. you could always try ported.. they don't require very big boxes..

ib flaming of rearfill
nice though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif , lets get them vids up buddy!
Er, what's wrong with "rearfill"? This was my first time using polyfill, and I couldn't find much help on da internetz about actually installing it, just people saying to use it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'll try and get that vid up soon though.

EDIT:

Yea, I plan to work on the amp situation, but I didnt' feel like re-wiring all that crap right now (I already had the wires and stuff in place and they won't reach to the other side).

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Rearfill=those pimp *** 6.5's you got tucked in the corners

polyfill=the shit you stuffed the boxes with

Most people arent big fans of rearfill around here. It has a tendancy to dick with your imaging....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Those are actually 5.25"s, and they're just screwed in the stock spot, they don't have an actual box or anything, the wood is just because they were too deep :p

So, I should just stuff the polyfill in there, not necesarrily on the back wall? The stuff I bought came in like a sheet, so I just cut out a couple rectangles and shoved them against the back wall, should I like shred 'em up and just stuff it? I didn't want it to get all in my woofer and mess something up :/

Oh my bad, I thought he was referring to the way I installed my polyfill XD, I was consfused, lol.

What's wrong with my speakers in the back? It's the same ones I have in the front, I figured it wouldn't hurt to match them?

by rearfill he means those MTX speakers you have back there
I'm taking a similar approach to what your doing... Except I'm going 4 RE RE 8"s ported in an regular cab chevy. should be loud :)
They look like MBQ's to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

You have the poly along the back wall //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I suppose that might help with rattles. Put it in the boxes, about .33-.5lbs per chamber, may get you a little louder, definetly smoother bass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
