Word is that Hayes was upset with an episode that aired in November, "Trapped in the Closet," that attacked Scientology, of which he's a follower. He asked the show to be released from his role as the sexually charged Chef.

Well, he WAS cool... scientology is just plain nuts though.... and that was an AWSOME episode....

Well then I guess I am a little more thick skinned than most. I don't have a problem, especially when it is in a satire that is obviously meant to get a chuckle and nothing more.

That is a generalization. I work for them and the ones I work for are pretty level headed. They also don't force their belief structure onto you like is commonly believed.
