I understand where your coming from. I agree that crack, meth, heroin, cocaine, pcp, should all be off the streets and people running those drugs are bad people, but come on. Most pot sellers are harmless. All they did was sell weed big whoop. There are harmless people in jail for just growing a weed plant in there house for personally use. How does that make sense? For example lets just say tomoatoes were illegal, but some people just grow them to eat and make a little side cash by selling it, but would go to jail if they got caught.

I hope all of you understand that the info that we get from tortured detainees is about as useful as a bucket of piss. It has been said by many people who have worked at GITMO that all of the data they get is useless and for sure would never be admissible in a court of law.

When we bring ourselves down to the level of the scumbags that want to kill us, we are no better than they are. If we do not present ourselves to our enemy as the higher ethical nation that we are, we might as well call ourselves terrorists. That is why the rest of the world has sat by and watched us the last 5-6 years. That is why we are going it alone in the wars on terror. It is not too late to fix all of that.

Our enemies behead captured prisoners. They even video tape it and send it to Altrzera or what ever it is called to be played on middle eastern tv. From what I have heard they have gotten some info (not all) that helped capture/kill some bosses and even helped stop other attacks. If you want to cut to the chase they will have to end up not taking prisioners..and you know what that means.

These people they have captured were fighting Americans on a battlefield so evidently releasing them in our general population for just not knowing who they were fighting for does not seem to be an intelligent decision. Their own countries do not even want them back. Compared to what our enemies do over there I would say water boarding is a lot more ethical than what they do. They (terrorists) exicute captured soldiers and even media people.
