No one wants to go to a sandy, inhospitible wasteland of a country, and spend months lugging around heavy gear and being shot at. Military service is voluntary however. If you make a choice to join, you should be willing to accept the possibility that you may have to fight, and possibly die. You should have a pretty good idea of what youre in for if you've joined up within the past 5 years. I was not trying to come across as a cold with my statements earlier, but the way I look at it, if youre going to participate in a conflict, you might as well use all the tactics and technologies at your disposal to win.</p></blockquote><p></p>
