Featured A/D/S p2000.2a

Hi,

Maybe somebody knows specs and other information about amplifier A/D/S p2000.2a. I tried to google, but did not find much. Definitely oldschool amp, class AB?? It sounds good, but running a bit hot in my oppinion (woofer alpine 250w rms 4ohm).
Does it have any value nowadays?

I'd say it's a $100 amp. Maybe more depending where it was made.

Holy moly. It is the same amp. Like exactly THE same. I actually bought it from that guy for 30 euros. I changed the rca port. Harvested one from a dead sound card. Just had to run a wire for ground (rca port leg did not match with the hole on the board). Anyways world is small. Sub and amp have been sitting in my apartment for a few months now since i took them out from the trunk to free some space for camping trip... Thought i would sell the combo and upgrade to something more powerful. But i did not have the specs for the amp. Big thanks!

Edit: I did not even think about searching from facebook. I knew I had the specs when I bought it tho

It only does like 100 rms. Overrated. You’ll need another amp to give that subwoofer what it wants.

I was suspecting that because the amp gets too hot.

I found a new "a/d/s" amp in eBay and bought it out of sheer curiosity. A week later the seller canceled the purchase. I guess they did not want their shop to be associated with these high quality pieces of art.
I see that they also have the faux Stereo Integrity SIQ series.
I had never heard of G Class amplifiers.

Arc made some but I think they had reliability issues.

That A/D/S amp isn't as old school as you might think, and it's not as good as it once was. It is a Chinese knockoff. The biggest giveaway is the 1500 watt max rating, on the front, while the RMS is 300 watts. the original A/D/S company would not do that. It would read 300 watts RMS but have a real rating of 400 watts.
