So whats the difference in these units other than price?

I have been looking at head units for 3 days now, have it narrowed down to these 2 and am ready to purchase I just cant see any major difference in them, help car audio noob please?

So whats the difference in these units other than price? I have been looking at head units for 3 days now, have it narrowed down to these 2 and am ready to purchase I just cant see any major difference in them, help car audio noob please?

The main difference between those two is the DSP. 9887 has it built in, 86 doesn't but has the option to add it as an external processor.

86 has some improvements in song searching and so forth but the main difference is described above.

9887 has MX.
