98 VW GTI VR6 radio unlock

Well, my friend's battery went out and and she got a new one in. She told me she entered some security code in twice and poof now its really locked. I'm asking if there is some sort of reset on the back of the radio or how to unlock with the code?

You will have to call the dealer and give them the vin and they should be able to give you a code to unlock it.
