9515 ports?

I am building a box for a 9515 getting 2800rms. It will be tuned to 38-40hz and the cuft will be between 4 and 5. Now my question is should i use a slot port or aero ports?

If i use aero ports they will be flared 4" diameter ports. How many should i use?

Do a slot port,or ur gonna have to use atleast 5+ 4"areo,or u could do 2-3 6" areos.

no diff by ear. DD recommends 16^2 per cube, so just do a big slot port. I've built a few boxes for 9515's, 4.5cubes @ 35Hz and they hit hard and sound good in that enclosure.

roughly each 4" aero gives 12.56"^2 of port area.

12.56*5=62.8/16=3.925

12.56*6=75.36/16=4.71

each 6" will give roughly 28.26"^2 of port area.

28.26*2=56.52/16=3.5325

28.26*3=84.78/16=5.29875
