I just flushed out my fluid for the second time within 1000 miles, as a shop used original Mercon viii instead of mercon v, and i had the accumulator spring changed and reflushed with mercon V and the fluid was burnt already. It shifts perfect and i can't make it slip, but i'm looking to put money aside and either buy a 98 ****** and rebuild it with even better internals, or if mine shits to rebuild this one with a high performance ****** kit. I really would like to have a bulletproof 4r70w built up, and then work on the engine after the summer. Anyone here work on transmissions or have a good connection? Depending on what happens here, i might be willing to travel for a week or so.. Theres a ton of ghetto places in miami, but i'd rather pay someone privately with more experience if possible.

yea thts the only downfall of ford is the ******'s ya oughta get a chip for tht 32v without one mine gets up to 130 but with ppl have claimed speeds up to 160 idk how true tht is but for the size of the car its not as heavy as u think and its very aerodynamic

The factory computer is very limiting for those cars, the very low gear ratio also makes it have amazing top end even a heavier standard 4.6L town car factory I can cruise 120mph..
