93 Dodge Stealth Build

Build time has finally come! I am very anxious to finally be doing some installing again.

Equipment:

HU: Eclipse cd5100

Amps: DAT Hellfire 1000.1 & Rockford Fosgate 351S

Subs: 2 RE Se 10" Dual 4s

Speakers: RE Audio XXX components (will arrive tomorrow...thanks SPL2K!!)

KnuKonceptz 1/0 and Lightning Audio 4 gauge wiring throughout

Coming this next paycheck....Mechman 175 amp alt and Powermaster D3400....

This build will take a week or two to finish depending on my availability of materials and shipping stuff via mail etc...enough of my blabber...

Also a quick note, I am going to have to wire the subs to 4 ohms until my new batt and alt are here.

ran the RCAs and remote wires and remote bass knob. There is a TON of room behind the dash which is great for future upgrades

Because of space issues in the hatch, i had to build the amp rack first. There will be more screws holding it in, the ones now are just for sizing and mock up.

Im out of materials as of now and need to run to Home Depot in a bit so thats where Im at now...

nice my buddy has a stealth too. they are a pain in the *** to build around cause of the **** spare tire hump in the trunk/hatch area. easy to get loud tho

they're going in the hatch. the mounting depth for my box is only like 8.75 inches which sux. def wont be the optimal enclosure specs here but it doesnt really bother me.

not to get off topic but how do you guys do that? Can you get all the stuff from a turbo car or do you use like megasquirt or just a rising rate fuel pressure regulator or something like that?

Kinda just take everything off the TT and put it on the N/A lol. Not sure if its different for the SOHC, but thats what happens with the DOHC.

no, unfortunately it doesnt work that way. I wish it would. there is all the room in the world under my hood, but the rest of the stealths are DOHC while mine is sohc. Shit wouldnt line up right at all. mine (base model) is 165 HP FWD, the twin turbo is 325 HP AWD. When i said i was gonna get one, i didnt mean i was gonna upgrade, i meant that i was gonna buy a stealth twin turbo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

oh, lol, just checkin, same basice engine in my van, not that I am going to do it but just curious. There are a few guys that have done it in shadows and spirits and such.

well sorry for no updates. i didnt post pics of wiring the doors and shit cuz i didnt wanna bore ya. im trying to figure a way to fit the **** comps securely on the door.

Anyways, i just made a new purchase. Im dropping the RF amp and just bought a DAT Hellrazor 4.125 so i can run my comps active. so the build is on hold until i get that.

In the mean time i got my alt from mechman.

cut the front baffles for the doors. Its 1/2" mdf to bring the fronts out so my comps can fit in the doors. They are going to get rounded over and wrapped when im finished building.

I cut a hole in my doors for the tweets.

Test fit for door number one.

both doors completed (as far as laying out goes).
