My freind just got a kenwood amp that does 500x1 @4 ohms and 900x1 @ 2ohms. He wants to get somthing purley for spl. but he doesn't wanna spend more then 200-300 ebay dollars. I was lookin at a 15L7 but that would be under powerin it a little. Also this is goin in the back of a jetta so it can be a big ported box. Thanks alot.

I have the same amp on a 2005 15" L7.. And trust me, there is no need for more power in a daily driver! And the amp does actually do 919 watts.. At least mine does.. Rated for 800. So slightly UNDERRATED... Go with the L7.

do you keep a dimm back there and make sure you are getting 919 watts back there? Most likely, you are getting lower than that.
