88 Minutes movie with Al Pacino

I just finished watching this movie with my wife...caught up on a bunch of DVD watching recently, and this was one of the last movies laying around...The trailer looked pretty meh, but I was like it's Al Pacino, what can go wrong? effing everything that's what...what a horrible waste of time this was...everyone's acting, Pacino's included (to an extent) was putrid...I have no idea what persuaded Pacino to take this role, but I am dead serious, avoid this trash...

awful plot, awful acting, lazy amateur directing, horrible dialog, overall crap...

the only bright spot is that Alicia Whitt is in it, and while her acting blows, she's rather sexy, for a ginger...

Funny, the only thing I can remember is that Al's sister was killed and it took 88 minutes, thus that length of time sorta became the theme of the movie.

It was ok to watch to kill some time but I do not think we will see an really good Pacino movies out of him most of the more recent things he has done have been very mediocre IMO.

yea, that's correct...and that in itself is one of the crappy aspects of the movie, that emotional part where he explains the significance of 88 minutes, total crap acting and just a ridiculous back story...meh...it was free...

we might see a glimmer or two here or there, but I agree for the most part...I would much rather watch righteous kill 100x over than watch this movie again though...

I had pretty high hopes for it, it wasnt horrible, but it definitely could have been better IMO...much easier to watch though than 88 minutes, the directing and acting were oscar worthy compared to 88 minutes and it's loopy plot and frantic dialog...

Yeah never took the time to watch this crap. Critics rated this movie with an F- and it was on the top 10 worst movies for '08.

I thought both 88 Minutes and Righteous Kill were pretty good movies. I never expected the end in Righteous Kill though.
