The speakers are 1-ohm so a newer amp can't power those... I'd like to take a newer head unit and hook it up to the remote amps once I get them rebuilt and new Bose 1-ohm speakers installed. My question is this: would the pre-amp level signal from a newer head unit feed those amps effectively? Does anyone have any experience with these systems? There are reasons why I want to go this route but I'll hold off going into them until someone specifically needs to know...Thanks!</blockquote>
