8" RL-I vs 12" RL-P

I have 1000W and about 1.5 - 2.0 cu ft to play with. Should I go with 2 8 inch RL-I's or 1 12 inch RL-P?

Which would be better for SQL? I'd rather run sealed, but if a ported box will fit, let me know.

1k is way too much for the rl i I'd think...could lower the gain. But this still is a terrible comparison

i have two rl-i 8"s and in my honest opinion it sounds really good for quality.
