8" Assasins Vs L712"

I’ve been out of the Audio Scene for a while. So bare with me please.

My brother want to put a decent sounding set of subs in his Extended Cab Silverado. I’ve spent the last few days looking and know that there’s no way in hell he can fit a decent set of 12’s under the seat.

So here is my question would it be best to go with 2 8” assassins (or RE 8’s) or 1 12” L7 both setups being done in a ported box.

Feel free to make any recomendations.

I have about 1.6 cu/ft of airspace to work with.

id say L7 easily but with that little space im not so sure. the assassins would be great for that space..

The L7 would not like that space....plus the AAs would pwn them in SQ....

AAs for sure.....obviously the L7 will be louder in the right install of course...easily

What do you mean by 'best'?

Loudest?

I'm sure that even in that small of a space, the L7 will get much louder.

Do like I did... 2 10"inch subs like I did in my dodge...I just posted some pics...souns fockin awesome....I trucks like ours are difficult to work with when keepin the back seat.

in that space, i'd do a ported L7 10"...well over the 8's

However a ten will work....
