8 15inch ma audios *URGENT!*

alright my friend and i are installin 8 ma audio xe 15s powered by 3 1000 watt (250x2 at 4 ohms) clarion amps.....i got some tech questions!!! the subs are dvc(4 ohms)....so if its possible how do i wire them to in between a 1-2 ohm load.......second.......what will i need to power the amp(ex-batt, cap, alt ,wires etc)and then third how big should we build the box for maximum db and if i shoul port it how big and what type of port tuned at what hz??? then last if anyone has some ideas on how to spend 1500 dollars for just the subs and amps to achieve higher spl then what i mentioned then im all ears....thansk all !!!

why not 2 DD3515's with like 3 1200.1's. each sub is like 250ish so that's 500, and then hell you have another grand to spend on amps. you could prolly find 2 bd1500.1's out there for 1000bucks and it will bump harder than those subs would in my opinion.

yeah i misread it at first, i thought he said 4 15"s. **** man for 15"s you better have at least 20cuft. of airspace to build a box for. i mean i'm building 13 cuft. for my 2 15"s i can't imagine 8 15"s.

i aint really a fan of ma audio - id look elsewhere - blueprints if you're on a budget or RE SE or dd300 series - all very capable drivers - oh & a word of advice - forget ma audio amps too.

not yet but i might end up gettin jbl power 1200.1's....also should i do a wall of six right behind the driver and pass seats instead of laying down 8...i still need help on the tech questions!

I would advise you not to buy the clarion as they are pretty overrated only 150x2 not 250x2.

go to jl audio to find out how to wire them if you put 4 on one jbl 1200.1 you can acheive 2 ohms with three woofers on a jbl 1200.1 you can achieve 2.66 ohms.

if you are seriously looking to be loud, 8 15's is not the way to go...

2-4 15's in 14-20 cuft, with 250-400 inches of port would perform much better...

for power.. the clarion amps aren't the best route either.. since they won't do the 1000 watts claimed...
