The perimeter sensor should work but I didn't set mine up for it at all. It will get on your nerves especially since it pages you. While I was tweaking it, it would go off if something passed beside it. At the same time, it will chirp if the wind blows, it rains, any animals (such as cats) pass by. found it to be more annoying than useful but I guess if your able to keep it out of those situations and keeping it in a garage then go for it. I have mine set with exterior (warn away) zone all the way down and interior zone up to where as soon as your hand comes in it goes full on. I have heard that tint does interfere with the audio sensor as well as piezos interfere with the audio sensor.</p></blockquote><p></p>
