Not bad work man, couple of mishaps are expected to happen it took me 10+ boxes to get somewhat close to perfect. A power sander is your friend too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah X2^^^^^^ Have prob about 6 or so boxes under my belt which aint much but I have made GREAT progress since the first box! Getting much better and it's becoming a lot easier...

for the life of me...i dont understand why people cut out the port INTO the front baffle.
why not built the port with the walls instead of cutting it out?

Make sure you understand what he's saying here, use a jigsaw instead of the roto-zip for the sub cut out, and read up on carpeting a box before you do the next one and you'll do fine.

He wasn't saying change what you use to cut the port hole...He was saying that you would do this instead of cutting a hole for the port...

I meant to do the port the way it is in your picture, and then to cut out the sub hole with a jig saw instead of the roto-zip. I just didn't word it very well.

Oh ok ok...yeah, the way I ported the box is much easier than the way lots of others do it by cutting the port into the front board...It just doesn't make sense to me to do it any other way than I do it......

Your port is not sealed on the top since your woodglue cannot bond to the silicone that's there.
