If I had the cash Id definitely go with the kicker.. I have last years model of the X812D and it puts out 900 watts at 2 ohms.. Its pushed my L7 for over a year now.. It goes into protect after I bust out test tones for more than 40 secs. Thats about it though.. Othe than that, no problems..

i would stay away from kenwood
Really? If your going to post something like that, please explain why. Not bashing here but looney is here for help and, telling him why to "stay away" would be more of a help to him.

could u elaborate...
Indeed.

Out of that line up I would go with the majority here. I have had several kicker amps. The kicker is a very nice , well built amp. I have had several As far as the kenwood, the excelon line are very good amps. I owned a few kenwoods as far back as the 90's, first ones being the 1023 and 923 and have never had a problem with their product until my kac-6201 that I had as a temporary amp for my highs. there was a loose solder connection in the amp that took a couple of minutes to fix. Other then that no problems their amps.

And as far as mtx, I have never dealt with their product so I can't offer up any information/experience with them.
