well my second w7 is supposed to come tomorrow and still undecided on how I am going to wire it.

AMPS: 2 Rockford Fosgate t1500-1bdcps 1000rms at 4 ohm and 1500rms at 1 ohm (underrated)

actually does 1200rms at 4 ohm and 1780 at 2 ohms and 1890 at 1 ohm.

Woofers dual 1.5 ohms each.

should i wire to .7 and have more power available not really sure if they can handle over 2k rms very long. the efficacy of the amp also drops about 20% going from 3 ohm to .7 and the dampening factor is lowered.

95% sure im going to do a 3 ohm impedance on each amp

anybody have an argument against it?

oh yeah and when my new 400 amp alt gets here 300 at idle im going to run it at 15.2 volts

with box rise .7 should be fine
I also thought about this, but for another month or so im going to be using my my 160 amp alt 100 at idle, and i feel as though she will die. before months end.

holy smokes i looked again and it looks like efficancy goes down by more than 25% //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

think i will run 3 ohm for now, and when i get my new alt try .7 but i would imagine at 15.2 each amp after rise will still do over 1400rms after wire loss and such.

but then again i really dont "bump" that often anymore.

Yeah, if you haven't bought em yet, then get a matching third sub. I would wire them to 1.3ohm, unless for some reason, you have some really...

Thank you for all your help and I'll let you know how it all turns out. I'm putting it n a kia optima. I hope that it sounds as good as i think it...
