i order from goldmine all the time. interesting place, good prices, expensive/slow shipping.

goldmine used to have some inductors and some polycarbonate (metalized)film capacitors. the individual parts were low priced.

i purchased a lot of the lm837n's from them.

I ordered two of the large ones just for kicks...maybe throw together some bookshelf speakers...can anybody suggest which mids they are using that would fit this crossover point?

also, if this is used for a home audio setup, will the 4 ohm load be too low for most home audio amplifiers? can a 4 ohm resistor be run in series with the setup to create the approximately 8 ohm load?

That is what ngism is using...and since they look sexy, I will too. I hate to be a copycat, but if it works, it works.

Got a few of the small ones, but emailed them to see what type of power they can handle. May need to upgrade to the larger if they handle more.

So these will work on this setup? I have the arbiter tms. With the crossover but i can put the crossover togheter. Might have to pick these up if they will work.

Well i got my 3 pairs of small x-overs today.

They have individual settign for low, mid, and high.no other paperwork with them.

Cheesy, but they will do the job. and at that price I can use them on anything. Hell i might just sell them for a job at work. When that bmw comes in and needs crossovers.

i got my 3 pair of small xovers today as well. so you gotta use one pair on highs, one pair on mids, and change the little wire inside from either mid to high?

I bought a pair of mediums and smalls, and they both have separate jumpers for low, medium, and high. The medium is a regular crossover with low and high output. The small ones just have input and output, I'm guessing it's just a tweeter crossover? Maybe the mids they are designed for have a natural rolloff at whatever the crossover point is?
