6 RE SR 12's vs 2 RE SX 18's

already have the 6 12's but kinda wanting to change it up. What would be louder? sound better?

will be in a 97 chevy ext cab truck (full wall)

0 guage wire kit

big 3 already done (all other electrical is stock)

amp is a audiopipe 3000d

thats what im kinda thinking but the sr on takes like 300 watts

Whats your final ohm load? 6 of em at 300 a piece is 1800 watts. Set your gains right and its still going to be louder.

If i keep the 12's then i need to rebuild the box (my first wall is getting blown apart lol)

I was thinking instead of one main chamber (like i have now) or 6 chambers with their own port ( basically 6 boxes in one big case)? what would be a good number to tune to and what is the best air space for the sr?

I'd stick with one common chamber as its going to get louder on smaller space than 6 individual ones. Just brace the hell out of it to keep it from blowing apart.

yeah i was doing a demo at work today and the port collapsed lol was hitting hard tho boss man came out and said u could put your hand on the subs in the showroom and feel them vibrate lol
