6 Month Tattoos?

Wiki really isn't helping out too much on this one. The only thing I know about it is that it is a bluish/purple ink, and it lasts for about 5 months.

if you want my input on this though...
piercings. much more removable than tattoos, if you chose the right one its a great conversation piece (i know mine start more conversations than tattoos //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ), and you get the same physical rush as a tat (or so im assuming, im not a fan of tattoos, too permanent)

a. i didn't get my tattoos to start conversations, i got them for me. if you're getting any kind of body modification for someone other than yourself, you're getting it for the wrong reasons. and i'd be willing to bet my tattoo in my av starts more conversations than your piercing, wherever it may be.

b. piercings almost ALWAYS leave some kind of scar behind. my grandpa had his ear pierced in the army almost 50 years ago, and you can still see where it was.

c. you honestly think getting a ten minute piercing(if that) is the same as sitting under a needle for 2 or sometimes even more hours?

and to the OP, what's the point in getting a 6 month tattoo? lol "I really like barbed wire, but only for now"

a) i did get it for myself, and i guaruntee you that while my piercing doesent start random conversations, it is the focus of more conversations than most any tattoo.

b) a scar 50 years down the road is not nearly as bad as a tattoo that you might not enjoy after a few months, or something that you regret down the road but still cant get rid of without paying through the nose to have it removed.

c) didnt say it was the same, piercings are much more intense, but shorter time frame.

i didnt get on here to debate which is better. i stated my oppinion on the matter. i just happen not to like tattoos, thats my oppinion. some people like them, i prefer my alternatives, and i listed my reasoning why.
