Hello, I did try serching and got no where on this so, I need some advive on how to do this. The speaker holes in my 91 Integra are 6.5". I have some 6.75" speakers (thought they were 6.5") and they will not fit obviously. I really want to use these speakers so my question is, what can I do to make them fit? I thought about using some MDF rings. a 6.75" inner diameter and a 7.25" outter diameter out of .75" MDF. This should alow he basket to clear the hole then. Anyone else think this will work? If so does anyone know of anyone on this forum that makes MDF rings?

It'll work, but I don't think you'll need a full 3/4" to accomplish this.

Push the speaker into the hole, then measure the distance from the sheet metal to the mounting surface on the speaker.

Like the others have said, you shouldn't need a full 3/4" but you can use 3/4" material if you want. Here is what I had to do with my Civic. I had to make the equivalent of 1" spacers in order to squeeze the Koda's in the doors. But in my last car (94 Integra) I only had to use a 3/4" spacer for the Koda's. With normal coaxes you shouldn't need anything more than 1/4" or 1/2" at the most.
