6.5 comps around $150-200. CDT? Diamond?

Was going to build my own comp set then decided I might as well go with something tried and tested..

so here are some ideas I had

(speakers will be receiving either 150 or 200 watts a side)

Diamond Audio D661 (around $180 shipped with warranty)

==then these CDT i can't decide between)

CDT EF-61 B stock ($149 shipped from CDT with full warranty)

CDT CL-62 b stock ($149 shipped full warranty)

would you guys suggest anything else?

always been a diamond and CDT fan and the B stock CDT seem likea good deal

i looked into diamond at one time, how good are they?

How would the BA SX60 compare to the BA SL60? Has anyone used either of them? Ive been stuck on which components to buy and need help decinding also. I want to try the Ascendent Audio comps but i dont know when they will be out.

I have the BA SL60 are they are nice sounding speakers. However, considering the price, I think it is easy to find better sounding speakers. They are being powered by a Zed Audio Gladius rated at 80 X 2, but I think it is a little underrated. They get loud enough for me, but the tweeters could be a little smoother. Midrange is excellent and midbass is decent (although I don't have my doors sound deadened).

hmm.. I have the EF-61CV w/upgraded 480XO's and 456's...trade talks?

**added** they haven't been installed since coming back from CDT for a check-up.

sure PM me some info on those. those are the Carbon fiber cones? let me know what was wrong and about the crossovers

I just bought and installed the diamonds D661.

When powered correctly, these components provide very good clarity with good mid bass. The tweets are very sharp and depends on the type of sound you prefer, i personally like the sound because it is able to bring out vocals nicely.

However one disadvantage is that it is made in China.
