5x7" or 6.5" components?

Never thought I would ask this question. But after searching around, I found there is a such thing as a 5x7 component.

Has anyone used them before? Or Planet Audios P65Neo? Would it be better to stick to a 6.5" component (more work to get into doors) or try out a 5x7" component?

Yes I think you would be happier as well, especially with them being amped at high volumes. At high volumes oval shaped speakers lose their shape ever so slightly adding distortion to the sound they produce. If you ask my opinion anything but a round speaker for anything but strictly bass is a bad idea.

more cars do have room for 6.5s now.... esp new models....... (better than having a plate)
