Well I just got my first car, and it still has factory equipment. I think I am going to get a Pioneer DEH-P6400 head piece, and was wondering what kind of speakers I should get. I dont know much about speakers, but was looking for anything in the $50 to $70 range. I dont think anything bigger than 5x7's will fit, but I have not measured the current speakers. I have a mazda B4000 truck if that helps. These speakers would be for the back, in the extended cab.

i think ur speakers r 5x7. when u install them, try 2 have the seats not blocking the sound, or else they sound like crap. i have 4 polk audio ex357's in my ride, and their amazing, and im running them off my panasonic hu, but their 120 a pair, well worth it, they may have a deal with buy 1 pair get 1 pair half off, thats what i got. check em out, u wont regret it.

If you're comfortable buying on Ebay, then you can get a pair of Infinity Kappa 573.2cf 5x7s for about $80. They are good speakers, just make sure to get them high-pass filtered.

Blaupunkt ODxa574's. I really am impressed with mine. I've also heard the Polk Audio dx7 series and liked them.

Like Dude above said, check out ebay if your budget is limited, you should be able to find something there for less than anywhere else.

stay away from polk.. and yes they are deff 5x7's... Just bought a pair of kappas 5x7 (infinity if u dont know) to complement my 5.1's in the front.. they are great... got them new for 65 bucks on ebay.. just like budget said.. you need to set a hp filter...
