OP
Yep.for the price people try to sell the jls for , ya gotta figure your gettin a hell of alot better sub for what your paying with a dd , and when it blows ya dont have to toss it out.....lol.... dont bother listening to people wholl say dd doesnt sound good, most have never heard one .....
I promise you they wouldn't. The box was even built around DD specs and the sub was given 3000wrms. something the DD was built to take and the lvl 4 should of had mechanical failure at. it was a direct drop in between the subs. nothing changed to make the number look niceI promise you in a different install, those results can and would be totally different.
That was in that car.I promise you they wouldn't. The box was even built around DD specs and the sub was given 3000wrms. it was a direct drop in between the subs. nothing changed to make the number look nice
I know what your saying... but what Im saying is they took a DD9500 sub in a box built for it and gave it the power it craved. it was .3dbs higher than that of a lvl 4 in the same box and power made for the DD. A brand new lvl 4 is 210-250 depending on size. DD is double-triple that price. To me its not worth the .3 db gain. Id much rather run a pair of lvl4s and still have money left. That was in that car.Try different boxes in different vehicles.
Yea, the DD box is a decent box...but in MANY instances it is NOT the box to use.
I'm not saying the DD95 will be louder everytime, I'm saying that in different instances either sub could win or loose. Is all about the little differences.
If you are leaning more to SPL, go DD95.I Was Checking Out The Dc Level's 5 But Woulnt Be Back In Stock For A Month Or So... So Anyone Think The Dd 9500's Are Better Than The Re Xxx 12'' ?
