Each speaker is receiving 250watts RMS at 2ohms. It sounds great but the amp gets super hot. So I am looking at purchasing an MTX monoblock class D amp that can put out 500watts RMS at 4ohms. So I would be receiving the same amount of wattage but at the different ohm rating. Here is my question, I was wondering since the speakers will be receiving the same amount of wattage will they pretty much sound the same minus the different amp settings. Like will they have the same loudness/power and punch that I currently have and like?</p></blockquote><p></p>
