Get Rich Or Die Tryin' sold 11 mil, almost to 3 mil wit The Massacre and hasnt even been a month, Tupac is the greatest, i love his stuff, but his last album didnt do much to the charts....

since when did the charts dictate what good music is? the only ppl buying 50 cent albums are suburban white kids who think he's cool. the charts only reflect sales---not music quality or content.

2.) Micheal Jackson - Thriller

3.) Pink Floyd - The Wall

4.) Zeppelin - IV

5.) Billy Joel - Greatest Hits Volumes I & II

great records on there but also look at the age of those albums you listed---they consistly continue to sell records whereas in 6 months no one is gunna be pickin up 50 cent albums--its flash in the pan hype whereas a truly good album is one you'd still buy 20 years later. we all know that 50's hype comes from controversy not credibility. like i said before--the VAST majority of his sales are from suburban white kids beggin for a taste of so called "ghetto life", too bad they picked a fake hero to worship.

Maybe that's why when I recommend older rap to people they laugh at me. I'm like "WTF? 4 year old metal albums are as good today as they were then."...

lol ppl often laugh at me when i play older music especially rap. not very often will you hear me playing anything new. i like stuff like eric b & rakim, run dmc, nwa, the first snoop album, then i usually throw in some stuff most ppl a few years younger then me have never heard of like UTFO, Boogie Boys, Curtis Blow, Whodini, Midnight Star, the Ojays, Sly and the Family Stone, the Chi-lights, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, Bobby Blue Bland blah blah blah i could go on and on
