Sold 5 band equalizer for sale!

Looking through my old things... found this Kenwood Graphic Equalizer, model KGC-4042A. Cheapest I found it only was for $115... I'll let it go for $60 shipped.

I don't have the box or paperwork, it was installed in my car up until a few months ago when I replaced it's use with the built-in EQ with my P880PRS.

Yep.

That EQ and its 9/11-band cousin, the 6042, have been out even longer than that.

The only changes from the KGC-6042 and its smaller relative, the 4042, from then 'til now is the addition of the amber/green switchable illumination.

When that feature was added the 'a' designation was added to the model numbers for the pair to denote their difference from the older versions.

Tech specs, however, have remained pretty static all along.

I ran the bigger one, the KGC-6042, back in '91 when I was a senior in high school. They had been out for two or three years at that point if I recall correctly.

Still a decent EQ for the $$ you're asking nonetheless so free bump with some background for j00.

Does this thing adjust the sub gain or the bass boost?

Also will it run two 6x9s and one sub?

I just want the EQ for the 6x9s

Yeah, I used it to adjust the volume of the sub channel and EQ for the front and rear speakers. I could totally disable the subs if I wanted to.
