With an external enclosure, yes. Alone, no. I may have and external enclosure I could sell with one. I will need to look around when i get home.

I can't answer this since I don't use any consoles. If it is an ide Hard Drive then I see no reason why you couldn't. Sorry I can't give you a concrete answer.

best buy has external enclosures for anywhere from 25-50.00...thats a good price on those drives and if i didn't have 2 500gb wd externals I would have grabbed a couple...GL on sale

if its a laptop drive (2.5" i think) then it will fit in the ps3... if its a 3.5" it will not fit

yea only notebook drives will fit in the ps3, nice drives here gl with sale

They are 3.5" so that rules them out from being used on PS3. Sorry.

So if I got all 4 and I got the case to hold them all how do they connect? Sorry I'm really new to the ext hd's lol.......One usb port to the back of the case and they are all hooked together somehow inside the case?

There is an IDE controller in it with 2 channels. It would be like hooking up an HDD in a PC tower. Then out of the back of the enclosure is USB to PC. It unfortunately doesn't have RAID so it will look like 4 hard drives in Windows and all drives would be independent.
