the touch screen works fine i can open the camera unlock the phone hit all the buttons on the screen even the ones i cant see, JUST the lcd is broken, the touchscreen area is basically mint since it has been used with a protector.

Congrats on the sale.

The screen is not designed to be 2 parts, it is fatory fused (touch screen and the monitor portion.

Who ever bough it, look for the complete screen kit as you cannot seperate them to replace one or the other.

why would they sell the screen then specifically for the 2g if you cant do it?

see the screen and digitizer are a single piece, so if the screen is jacked but still can slide the unlock or turn off the phone, you still need to replace both.

i sold a 8gb with a cracked screen, digitizer still worked, so i did some research and found the oem screen and digitizer for 170. too steep for me since to replace the screen is to much work and if you **** up, your 170 short.

btw sold it for 90
