4cubes net tuned to 38hz, this an okay design?

Just want the guru's to check in on this for me. A guy that lives pretty close to me posted on craigs list that he was trading a power acoustiks amp (that costs $200 new, its almost a year old he said) for a ported box design. he's going to compete with 2 12" kicker compVR's apparently.

anyways, will this be okay for such an occasion? 4 cubes net, 38hz, 58.5sq in port area....
