4"x6" conversion to 6.5" components

I currently own a '99 Grand Am GT, and I was just wondering how hard it would to convert a 4x6 to a 6.5 speakers in the door panels. I saw some Power Acoustik 6.5, 160 watts(thats what it said on the box cover), for 40 bucks; is that a good price for it?

You would just about have to make your own adapters. None of the commercially available ones would work, I don't think. The length (6") in a stock 4x6 spot might work for a 6.5" speaker with minor modifications but how you gonna put a 6.5" speaker in a hole that is only 4" wide?
