well is there gonna be enough rooom? im thinking about reconing my destroyer into a 10" for fun. just to have a beefy 10"

basket more than likely wont accept a 4" coil, + the whole spider issue mentioned....guess it depends on several things

NO. The destroyer has a smaller spider and cutting it for a 4" coil and to fit a 10" basket will make it too small and you will eventualy rip the spider.

What diameter spider will fit in the basket?

If its an 8" you may be able to get 2" of travel. If its 6" then maybe 1" of travel.

if it works it will probably not last long with the power being thrown at it. that spider will be hating life.....

unless you do some crazy shit and somehow allow the large spider to be secured and the basket not interfere. some would say this is physically impossible. i say is physically improbable.

haha aight man ill prob just go with 12" or maybe an 18" could make a 21"?? a 21" would be sick.

use a ti basket, OR an la basket. i still dont like doing it.. i prefer 10" spiders for 4" coil..

Well, considering you can't fit a 3" coil on an 8" sub I don't think it will work, at least not for long.

word ill just keep it a 15 unless someone has a 12inch basket for sale?? preferable 12 spoke. or an 18" basket?
