Dont need to remove anything, its a chrome bar, has 2 bolts on either side that you use to adjust the striker

I've had mine for almost 5years. It's been through better times, even flew off my head on the highway one time... got ran over by a semi and all. My g/f at the time was driving... and I was like... TURN AROUND... and she gave me this weird look... but got off and turned around. So we drove slow... and I saw it on the side of the road and got out and ran and got it. Put it back on my head.

Heh.

This hat has also been through almost all installs I've ever done... and most work...

Bought it brand new, it earned it's tears/rips the real way.
