4 Orion 15's vs FI BTL 18"

So I'm contemplating buying either a fully loaded 18" BTL or 4 15" Orion Xtr Prototypes in the FS Section. I'm leaning towards the 4 15's because they are efficient subs. I will be using a Orion 2500d wired at .5 ohms to power either. Which do you guys think would be able to get a higher spl number? I have a suburban so room is not a problem.

4 15's will be louder than an 18 probably

Cant argue with that one... the (4)15s in the proper enclosure will be quite a bit louder than the BTL.

The Orions are no where near as efficeint of subs sensitivity wise as the BTL... But even at 89 or so, you will still be up 6 dB from that with 4 of them (and over the 94 and change that the BTL is). Not too mention that the drivers efficiency doesnt have as much to do with bass output as people like to think.

ty, i'm going for a tuning of 28 hz for these beasts.
