4 Banger/6 Banger ?????

you could put 20k into one, and MAYBE be able to get 5k if you sell it
my buddy just sold his 1G for close to $10K probably the cleanest 1G in the country but he's had it for like 8 years and put close to $20k in it so... since this thread isn't going anywhere

i second that one get a dsm as long as you have another one as a daily driver because you will spend more time working on it that driving it but its a very solid engine and easy and kind cheap to pimp up get a 90 to 92 with a 4g63 6 bolt or a 98 or 99 dont get crankwalk like the other 7 bolts ohhh and get an awd car please you will need that if you build it right

its highly modified but still a 4 cylinder and a 4g63 theres a video of it doing a 1/4 mile pass in 6.76 i think

i think your misunderstanding me, i said that 2g ECLIPSES don't have the same motor as 1g ECLIPSES, and the 3g ref was u talking about looking girly, IMO those r the girly ones

he is saying the 1G's don't have the same motors as 2G's since the 1G's have the 6bolt and 2G's the 7-bolt both 4G63/4G63T though...

and that car was very nice man...that one i posted on the 1st page is mine, it is veeeery clean for being a 91

 
i am simply stating the 1st gen does not have the same motor as the second gen otherwise there woulda never been a "crankwalk problem" cause they woulda never changed the motors in them, which i still don't understand why they ever put that POS 420a in the 2nd gen base models anyway worst motor ever

 
how mucho?
I have $2500 in it counting the 18"s....it has had the top end of the motor redone at cost of $800 it is low miles for a 89 ...I'm wanting to say less than 140,000 it runs good but needs motor mounts...I have one...but could use the other as well...they are about $100 each...I just had a new fan clutch installed i'd have to have what i have in it....
