4 8inch drivers?

1.how well would 4 8inch driver perform in a standard cab truck?

im trying to squeeze as many subs in my truck as posible and acheive good sq as well as a little spl

if you can get your hands on some, and you can fit the depth, rl-i8's are the current 8 of choice for many people.

remember as stated above, it's not how many driver you can cram into the space you have, the enclosure you give each speaker plays the biggest role in what you get in the end.

if you setup up right, as stated above... When I was down in Morgantown I heard one of the systems that scottie set up for one of the locals and I'm pretty sure he said it was just 2 RE8s, and that the kid had wanted 4 but he convinced the kid that 2 with a better box would be better. and for a standard cab s10 it was pretty decent...

i dont really have to have all four of them behind the seat, i could do 2 behind the seat and 2 in a custom built console maybe?

What kind of amp do you have? or are you waiting till you get the subs?

well i dont exactly know that forsure, the box could be at least 2 foot tall and 36 give or take wide, but depth is gonna be weird because my back wall is shaped funny
