Being as serious as I can, I think you're aiming a little high thinking that you're going to gain another 5 dB by adding that much power.
You'll have to do a lot of testing, tuning, and potentially rebuilding to see that kind of gain.

i have only tested twice, i dont have my own meter. but the only time i've tested with two amps in one of them was only at 25%( it was partially blown when i bought it, smoking and shit but still worked.) those two burps were done at 43 hz only, never tryed another and i produced a 155.2 and a 156.3 outta it before it completely shut down.

my box is tuned for 27hz because i listen to my system and drive it every day. but i will be doing some box manipulation over the winter and rounding inside corners as well as shortening the port and taking out 25 inches, my port is 39 inches long right now. and i am rebuilding the subs with some 8 layer flatwound aluminum coils with 3 stiff spiders instead of the 2 i have now.

i am going to run 10 135ah AGM C&D batteries to the one SD16kamp and another set of 10 to the second SD16Kamp

with all these changes 160 is just a shortchange number!

wow.. good one man.. that sure was a zinger... now go bitch about the Termlab and its inaccuracies some more.. let me know when you find that db meter that reads all the frequencies as one since thats what you are looking for.. might start at walmart or pepboys..

Hi James, 160 should come with just one amp, a strong box and decent port area will make it.

So if I read this correctly.. I can stick this 16kw amp in a strong box with some port area and will probably do a 160!!

Well, my astro did 161.6 with the same amp, but only on testing, not at show. Did a 59.1 certified wired to 2 ohms and playing at 5 ohm tough...
