ok this thread has nothing to do with subs but it got your attention....anyway i hear about ppl supposedly blowing out their windows and such, and everyone on here is so fast to make fun of them and say it doesnt happen well i did see a guy break his window...but it wasnt from it literally exploding, but it flexed it so much that it cracked and fell apart so it is possible but i just dont understand why everyone has such a laugh over this because it happens...anyway let the flaming begin lets see what you all got im bored....

Windshields are made out of safety glass. While they can and will crack under the stress of a severe audio system, they will most certainly never 'fall apart'.

My bro-in-law had a crack in his windshield when he bought his car, and it slowly got bigger after having a stereo for a long period of time..

of course its possible to break a windshield. if you put enough pressure on a windshield it will break. whether its from a stereo or something else.

The issue at hand is the people that have 2 12" sony xplodes in a trucked vehicle off a 1200w max sony amp, that claim they blow out windows...

THATS what people laugh about...but yea...this thread is the gay
