Have a buddy who is asking me about which setup to buy and i know nothing about any of these brands....SO, What would you guys get IF you were buying garbage subs? lol!

a pair of Audiopipe TSAR 15's

a pair of Lanzar VW15D 15"S

or 4 Hifonics HFI 12"S

1700w RMS. Was pretty loud for ~150 in subs and ~250 in an amp.

He heard a pair of 12" Re SX subs,(the older good ones) Can he expect anything near that volume out of any of those setups?

He obviously doesnt have an ear for sound quality yet, He is upgrading from a pair of 10" Kicker comps.

A single 15" Obsidian is capable of getting into the mid 140's with ~1500 watts.

That's on music and they can handle significantly more than their rated power for an extended period of time / daily.

I've never run 15's so idk what to tell him about range....But with a 15 there will be no high notes yea? Untill he builds good set of mids in his doors at least!

Im leanin toward the Obsidian i wanna hear it! Especially since im not buyin it lol
