could always leave it at 2ohm and still get more then enough power to the sub

but I would say you should be safe but I guess you will have to find out and see if it can really handle it or not on your own

LOL and you have a t4000.1 and it puts **** near almost 5k out!

 
A Sundown 3000 will easily pull over 400a of current @ 0.5ohm. I recommend setting your gains conservatively.

i would NOT suggest this with your electrical.

that's a LOT of current draw.

if you do it with this electrical, i see magic smoke in your future.

& once your amp lets out it's magical smoke, it works no longer!

Well after testing it my self. 0.5 ohms with 1 Red, and 2 Yellows, and the gains about a hair under half, i see no less than 12.6. so much for 500a of draw eh
