SUCKS BALLS!
I bought what was supposed to be a brand new (not refurbished) samsung drive for my xbox.
Took a few days for them to ship it which was ok by me, but once I got it the drive was just wrapped in bubble wrap and had a little 'X' written on the top of it in one of the corners. The drive didn't appear to be in new condition and with a manufactured date of 2004 that made it more unlikely.
The drive is supposed to be one of the best and can play most types of media however, mine won't play CD-R's or CD-RW's and I have two friends that have xbox's and one of them has the same drive as mine the other has a thompson drive and both play the same CDR's mine wont play:furious:
So I figured i must have gotten a bad drive so I contacted 3btech since it has a 90 day warranty on it and told them something was wrong and they made me fill out a RMA form and that I have to pay return shipping and it must be insured packaged with the same or better packaging and if not then they will not accept it. They also said they will test the drive and if it works they will charge me to ship it back. I told them it plays games fine, but wont play cdarrrs or cd-rdubyas and if I get the same pos drive back i will be ****ing pissed
