2 12's would have double cone area of 1 12 so the pioneers should win out. Throw in the fact that the type-r can take way more power and it really clinches it for the pioneers IMO

I must highly disagree the pioneer spl series I had sounded great and got loud on just 1000 watts split between the pair..I say try the pioneers...

1 type-r > 2 most of pioneer's line up besides there 'spl champion' series or w/e that crap is.

w/e that crap is just broke the world record with a 180.4 db with the crap pioneer champion spl subs, sounds pretty crap to me too lolz.
