I love my Taurus pt1911 .45
However i cant shoot as good with it as i can my Glock .40 I think hogue grips will fix that, As my hands dont really fit the gun to well.
As for the millenium's, Id stay away. Mine had feeding issues, And took quiet a bit of work to get it to function correctly. I still wouldnt trust my life with it, And if i cant do that theres no use in me owning it. Ive got .22lr's for fun.
My 1911 however, Shoots 100% out of the box, Has a NICE trigger feel [That you cant get with a para, nor kimber, No matter how much modification you do, Im sorry., Been there, Tried that.], Fieldstripping and cleaning isnt bad but isnt anywhere like a glock..
Go to a gun range, And see if u can rent one.
