38 super or 45 taurus 1911

Got a Taurus 1911... not a bad gun at all for the price!

I just bought a new Taurus PT145 Millennium Pro and by far my favorite gun so far. I have owned some pretty expensive guns in that past (Kimber included) and I won't do that again. I have had ZERO issues with any of my Taurus pistols. If I had $1200 to spend, I would buy a few Taurus instead of buying a single Kimber... That is just me though...

Recent gun show we had here I got the Brand New PT145, 3 clips (two with the gun, bought an extra), and a holster (I have a CCW) for like $375...

I love my Taurus pt1911 .45

However i cant shoot as good with it as i can my Glock .40 I think hogue grips will fix that, As my hands dont really fit the gun to well.

As for the millenium's, Id stay away. Mine had feeding issues, And took quiet a bit of work to get it to function correctly. I still wouldnt trust my life with it, And if i cant do that theres no use in me owning it. Ive got .22lr's for fun.

My 1911 however, Shoots 100% out of the box, Has a NICE trigger feel [That you cant get with a para, nor kimber, No matter how much modification you do, Im sorry., Been there, Tried that.], Fieldstripping and cleaning isnt bad but isnt anywhere like a glock..

Go to a gun range, And see if u can rent one.
